Launching a HostedX Integration with Root

HostedX is Root’s streamlined integration path for partners who want to launch quickly without building a fully embedded experience. Your team integrates with our hosted environment in test, validates the experience in test, and then moves to production once both teams confirm readiness.

What the launch looks like

1. Align on scope and desired launch timeline
   We align on the customer journey, launch scope, markets, timeline, and success criteria like performance metrics.
2. Access the test environment
   Root provides test credentials and implementation guidance so your team can begin building and validating in a non-production environment.
3. Build and configure
   Your technical team develops against the Root test environment, then relies on Root’s HostedX experience to perform the remainder of checkout and bind. Collaborate with Root account owners to co-brand the experience.
4. Validate together
   Once your team is satisfied with the test integration and co-branding, Root completes joint validation and iterative UAT to confirm the experience is working as intended. Learnings from testing may impact prior go-live timing expectations.
5. Enable production
   Once Root’s acceptance testing is complete (following a formal review of your application) and you’ve been green-lit for launch, Root issues production credentials and supports final production setup.
6. Go live
   Your team deploys to production and both teams monitor launch performance, routing, and reporting.
