Beginning this week, Quote related endpoints will respond with a 429 - too many requests - in the event a client of the API sends too many requests in a short period of time.

Affected Endpoints

All of the /v3/quoting/quote/* endpoints will be rate-limited, and this limit will be shared among these endpoints. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Create quote
• Update quote
• Finalize quote
• Bind policy.

We intend to maintain the throttling limits above any integration's legitimate, live quoting use; so you should not experience rate-limiting in production. But if you'd like to test this behavior in the testing environment, have any questions, or experience rate-limiting in production please reach out to your Account Manager.
