🔍 What’s New
Each coverage object (within quote.coverages[].policy[] and quote.coverages[].vehicles[].coverages[]) now includes:
priceInCents: The price of that specific coverage, in cents (e.g.1776)- This is scoped to the per-month price or the full-term price based on the invoice period (see
quote.options.invoicePeriod). See this related post for more details.
- This is scoped to the per-month price or the full-term price based on the invoice period (see
priceDescription: A formatted string version of the price (e.g."$17.76")
📌 Important Things to Know
- Some coverages may have
nullvalues forpriceInCents, butnull≠ free. Only0indicates a $0 price. - Coverage prices are not additive to compute the total premium. Final premium values include other adjustments (e.g., taxes, fees, invoice period).
- If no invoice period is provided for
quote.options.invoicePeriod, a monthly invoice period will be assumed for the returned per-coverage prices. - Behavior and structure are consistent across estimated and bindable quotes.
